I’ve recently ordered some objects from Shapeways. I chose blue and green for colors. I added little feet to the shapes which were not necessary in hindsight, so I clipped them off. To my surprise the internal material was white instead of green or blue. Could it be that Shapeways prints in white and somehow coats the objects after printing in the desired color?http://ift.tt/29pKtag http://ift.tt/29rmKlt

Water and Copperfill
I do not have extensive experience with Copperfill but I’ve noticed it looks to absorb a notorious amount of water. After sanding a new print, I typically wash it was cold water and soap to remove dust. It then takes the print a full hour to two to dry. Is this possibly degrading of damaging the print? http://ift.tt/29sGPaP
